Finding essential botanical supplies in Hogwarts Legacy is vital for any young witch or wizard looking to master Herbology and Potions. Among the various shops scattered across Hogsmeade, The Magic Neep stands out as the primary destination for acquiring plant seeds and rare ingredients. Navigating to this specific storefront can occasionally confuse players during their early exploration of the village.
Finding The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade
The Magic Neep is situated in the western region of Hogsmeade, across the river from the central shopping area. To reach the shop, cross the stone bridge located directly behind J. Pippin's Potions. Once across the river, follow the small path heading up toward the open outdoor stall operated by Timothy Teasdale.
Unlike traditional indoor stores in the village, this establishment features an open-air cart and garden area where supplies are displayed. Look for the distinct wheat icon on your map to mark its precise location.
The Welcome to Hogsmeade Quest Requirement
Players are required to visit The Magic Neep during the main story mission known as Welcome to Hogsmeade. As part of your initial trip to the village alongside Professor Weasley's chosen companion, you must gather essential supplies from several key shops.
Visiting Timothy Teasdale during this quest allows you to pick up your first Dittany seeds, introducing the mechanics of growing your own potion ingredients. Completing this objective is necessary to progress the campaign and unlock your full schedule at Hogwarts.
Available Inventory and Seeds for Purchase
The shop specializes in selling seed packets that allow players to grow ingredients inside the Room of Requirement. You can purchase seeds for Fluxweed, Knotgrass, Mallowsweet, and Shrivelfig to supply your farming setups.
In addition to seeds, Timothy Teasdale provides ready-to-use plant stems and potion materials if you need immediate stocks. He also sells Fertilizer, which significantly increases the crop yield from your potted plants. Keeping a steady supply of these items ensures you stay fully prepared for difficult combat encounters.
